How do you evaluate the year of 2021



This post is very special to me and I want to share with the audience my achievements, happiness and sorrows throughout the year. The year 2021 is very special for me even though the pandemic is arising and many people are traumatized by the COVID19 situation all around the world. This year is very different and taught me many precious lessons. Made me the person I always wanted to be and helped me to challenge myself to become the better version of myself.


In January, this year, I promised to myself that whatever I do, I will see the end not matter how hard it is but I will finish what I start. In the past years, I made a lot of plans and believe it or not, I could not accomplish any of them. I was overwhelmed with tons of stress. Most of the time I was tired and procrastinating everyday thinking to start tomorrow. When tomorrow came I repeated the process and stayed undone. At the end of the year nothing happened and I was doing the same thing again and again and again each and every year. Nothing changed and this year I changed my to do list and a bunch of good things happened to me. Keep reading this article till the end and I will share how I have changed my year.



I was always out focused on my vision, and did not know how to do things that I wanted to do. Whenever I tried to do something that I know will bring some value in my life, I used to think of other people, what they may think of me if I do something unusual that is not in common. I always prioritized other peoples thoughts and stepped down from what I wanted to do to make myself happy. I always feared challenges, pushed myself backward, and live an ordinary life as other people around me do.


I took on some new challenges and overcame the fear of failure. I tried most options I have near my hands and know that I did not fail at all. I happened to publish two books this year. Besides that I am a successful blogger publishing articles every week and I did not skip this year at all. I know what I am doing and working on my long term goals that I was thinking from the childhood. I believe, I will reach my goals and I a really into it.



I needed to bring some changes in my lifestyle and also the things I do. I sat on my desk and planned couple of things (Not too many) that I need to do and not to do. I was doing and planning a few things every year but none of them was really successful. Below are the things I always wanted to do and change;

  • Publish an article every week on my blog website

  • Reading two books every month

  • Publish two books in 6 months (2 books in a year)

  • Hit the gym or working out at home and lose 20 kgs

  • Motivational post on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram every day except weekend.

  • Spend whole weekend with my family

  • Traveling two times in this year (Domestic or International)

  • Saving 10% of income and invest

  • Lessen meeting people

  • Setting a healthy boundary among friends and acquintances


With the first one, I am successful and published articles every week. I did not skip any week even if it was really hard to manage my time. Sometimes, I did not even have any ideas what to write, but still I managed to find a subject and chose to publish it. Second, I am also successful with this habit as well. I started reading everyday in the morning at least for 30 minutes. I managed this very well and this year I have read 24 books. In 2022, I am planning to read at least 30 books and I believe I can do this and now I know the strategy of reading books.



With the third one, it was my biggest dream of the year and I was really scared that I could do this or not. But I made this dream come true and published two books in this year. You may visit below links to get my books.

I am going to publish 2 more books in 2022 and I am really excited about it.


My forth goal was losing 20 Kgs in this year and I failed this goal. I was able to lose only 7 Kgs only this year, and I failed to hit the gym or home exercise. I ate a lot of junk foods and could not maintain meal schedule. This, perhaps is the number one priority in 2022 to bring my body in a shape. Beside this I failed to travel and the biggest reason was the pandemic. Still I managed to travel once with my wife and it wasn't easy also. Hope we can do this next year for sure.

I also could not save 10% every month of my income but did around 5% and invested on stocks. In the future and from next year I am planning to invest on Real Estate. I believe I can do this too. One of the worst thing I was always doing is, I could not say "No" to my friends for anything. For this reason, I had to pay a lot and I always used to regret for losing time, money as well. I started thinking a lot about it and this year I became able to say "No". When I saw there is no value of hanging out with friends but just wasting time and money, while only pleasure was there.
