How to spend a successful day

Who doesn't want to spend a successful day? Everyone wants it but often we fail or we do not give our best as successful as we want. In this article I am going to give some tips that will help you to spend a successful day. If you are expecting to spend a successful day you must put some efforts and be aware of your routine that you have created. Why most people fail this? Because they plan in the morning and spend their whole day on planning only not hitting them. It may sounds very familiar to you and also you may heard or read this kind of topics millions of times but you have found yourself that did not work. Why? because you weren't aware of your schedule or time you're spending on or you have been just thinking but not doing anything.

I am going to split a day into 3 parts. Morning, midday, and evening. You may schedule your day according to this tips and I myself follow this everyday. To be honest, you will get more time during your midday and in the evening. But your morning part is very important to kick off the day with a great feelings. Most importantly, you have to complete your planning for the next day that what are you going to do.



Your Morning Defines your Day

Everything starts with it that how you maintain your morning. To spend a successful day you must wake up early in the morning. But there are few things you need to be aware of and this habit literally will give you a different aspects of life. I will tip some "Don'ts" here right after waking up and you must follow this to start a mindful morning. Your morning schedule shall be considered from 5AM to 9AM.

Right after waking up don't do these things:

  • Look at your phone: When you look at your phone you basically will scroll down your SNS and see the feeds. You will find stressful news feeds or unusual stuffs that will literally feed you worries and nothing positive.

  • Watch TV or news: After waking up do not turn on your TV to watch some news or whatever it is. Again it will feed you some negative news. Remember, 90% of the news channels provide negative news on daily basis and people get worried about it. They bring more problems than solutions.

  • Drink Coffee: Do not drink coffee right after waking up and it's not healthy to drink coffee in empty stomach. Avoid caffein as much as you could in the morning before breakfast.

  • Check your email: This is the worse habit checking emails right after waking up. Your emails contains tons of good news and bad news as well. Do not feed your brain either right after waking up. Remember, whatever you feed your brain first in the morning will carry you till bed time.



Do these things instead:

  • Drink a glass of cold water: It is very important and a glass of cold water will give you a positive energy than a cup of strong coffee. Drink a glass of cold lemon water if possible to give a fresh start your day.

  • Stretch or meditate for 10 minutes: After waking up a free style stretching will boost your blood circulation in your body, but don't do anything aggressive. After some light stretching sit for a 10 minute meditation with a calm music.

  • Take a shower: After meditation take a cold shower if possible. It has a bunch of benefits and it definitely will wake you up from sleepy mode. It also calms your itchy skin down.

  • Eat healthy breakfast: Breakfast is very important and you must eat healthy breakfast. Avoid oily foods in the morning and eat vegetables and greens.

  • Read for 30 minutes: Read daily for 30 minutes and I would suggest to read on self improvements or books related to your professional skills that will improve your knowledge and open more opportunities.


Grow Your Productivity During Midday

After completing your morning routine you are ready to start the productive day. The most

productivity happens during midday hours. This is the time where you grow your business, this is the time where you do networking, and this is the time where your most profit grows. No matter which industry you work, no matter what profession you have, you cannot avoid this. So how you are going to win this hour? Have you ever planned on this or just followed the flow where it takes you? If you only follow the flows it will take you somewhere you don't know or may be nowhere. As I have mentioned earlier in this article that it is the most effective and productive hours of the day I would like to give some tips to grow your productivity and business opportunities.

  • Surround yourself with optimistic people: If you are a businessman, or employee, or a business owner you definitely don't want yourself to involve with negativity that goes against your profession. You become what you surround with yourself. Find more optimist people and surround yourself with them and leave negative company where grows nothing but destructions.

  • Move your body through out the day: I know it is tough if you are working as an office staff. You may be thinking you do not have time at all and you are busy and don't have time to move your ass at all. Actually taking 5 minutes here and there through out the day for brisk walks or stretching sessions will grow your productivity and help to comeback to the moments. Move your body every hours and take short 5 minutes break and it will help you to increase your productivity for sure.

  • Network all over the day: It could be explained as being social with the people you are surrounded by. Network with your coworkers and be more social with them. Talk to them whenever you are having some time and grab some coffee and open up normal discussions to stay connected. Beside this to grow your business or professional skills start online networking and find people having the same interests like yours.


Keep Your Evening Hours Meaningful

Your day is not end yet till you go to the bed. So this is the time where you have chances to modify your day, reflect your activities, opportunity for being more social and grow your social network. Most importantly, you prioritize your all social, family, and other activities during this hours of the day.



  • Give your family time: Your family comes first and you must give a good time to your family. Discuss with your family to get to know everything happening within your family. Share the things and feelings within family no matter how small or big it is. That's how the family bonding grows and communication builds up. Keep everything simple and friendly so anybody within your family can share everything without hesitation. Your family is the pillar of everything and give the first priority to it.

  • Take sometime to evaluate your day: Keep a journal where you put everything that happens around the day. Have a look at it and evaluate yourself including all events that happened. Find if anything needs more attention and study and learn related subjects

to improve them. While doing this spend this time alone and it's completely your personal hour to have a look at yourself.

Work on self improvement: You know what you are doing and you know better than anyone about your strengths and weaknesses. Point out your weaknesses and work on to improve them. Learn the skills on your field and at this time work on them to improve constantly. At the same time keep your strengths shining so you do not get to backward.

  • Plan for the next day: Now it is time to plan for the next day and plan it doable. Do not plan a long list for the next day and keep it simple. And of course do plan tight, but keep a gap between all activities so you will have sometime to work properly. Have a good night sleep!

Follow the process that I have explained above as I always do and if you do so you will have more productive days and hours to spend. Repeat them every single day, work to improve them by doing more and be grateful for what you have and you are becoming. Life will be more enjoyable that you've never thought!
