Everybody wants to live their lives they dream to live. It is not easy though to just live a life you want to. Why? You fear things. And you fear changes. You know if you want to live your dream life you need a change. You need to change yourself, you need to change the way you are living, and you need to change the environment. Fear grows because you doubt yourself that it is not possible or you are not really working to change yourself to reach to your goal.
And most importantly, it's not only you and it involves a lot of supportive things, people, and environment. Almost daily, you face a new challenge, trauma, and injustice in many forms and experience related to your emotion which brings tons of stress. And your emotion drives you the way you react towards it. You react or act, whatsoever it is, it stops at the end point and it is called, "fear".
Today in this article we are going to discuss how to win fears and live your dreams. Remember only fear is restricting you and holding you back not to do things you have to. Because, you are scared of failure, you are scared of the people what they might think, and you are scared you will be ashamed and people will play you fool. Here are the things you need to do to win fear and live your dreams.
Be ready for obstacles
Life is a total obstacles. Every single day you will face it and some of them gonna be within your range and some of them gonna be out of control. However, do not ever expect life without obstacles. Be prepared for any kind of situations and acceptance. Do not fear and run away from obstacles and try to overcome them instead. Remember, if you run away from one problem another will just appear on the way right in front of you.
The effort you put forth now will make reaching your dreams all the more worthwhile in the end. Embrace all situations, face the problems, and overcome them to live a life you are dreaming of.
Look for the good in others
Fear creates an urge to isolate and cut ourselves off from those who seem different from us. The society we are living in have different types of people of different characteristics and sometimes you may feel them as a threat which is very uncomfortable. Sometimes they make you jealous of their lives and you get scared of that the life they are living might be impossible for you to live. When we feel threatened we are more susceptible to de-humanizing members of groups we don't identify with and may look to blame them for the difficulties.
See the positive connections between yourself and other people and focus on connecting through your common values. Cheer them if they are doing great and give a big hand for their success. Try to find all good in others and get connected with those which will help you to grow to live your dream life.
Accept the things you can't
It is hard but true also that if you can accept the things as it is life will be much easier. There are certain things which you can't control whatsoever and it is not your fault at all. But if you want to control everything it won't work and never happen the way you want to. For an instance, you cannot control peoples mind around you and you must know that some things are out of our hands, but there are things you can do to feel safer in certain situations.
It depends on the degree of worrying and once you you have made the change you can, let go the fears you can't do anything about it. While you can control your own actions and influence your situations to a degree, there's very little you can do to control the actions of others. Try to avoid spending emotional and mental energy on things you can't impact.
Focus on the benefits
If you only can focus on the benefits you will never quit what you have started. You know why you have started and the benefit is tremendous. Of course things are going to be hard on the process to achieve or receive the benefits you have calculated. You must be calculative and focus on the benefits and it will help you not to quit and overcome fear.
You might even write a list of all the reasons why you should keep going when things get hard. They, on tough days, read over that list and it will help balance your emotions with logic which is essential to persevere.
Leave your comfort zone
I always encourage people through my blog posts to leave their comfort zone and seek the best that suits for their lives. Your comfort zone is a drug where you feel comfortable and keep you away from all chances and possibilities that will give a new life that you are dreaming of. Until you get out of your comfort zone you will never be the person who you want to become and never be able to live the life you are willing to.
You fear to leave your comfort zone because you are scared about uncertainties. But hey, the life you are living in your comfort zone is also full of uncertainties that you don't know what gonna happen in future. Leave your comfort zone if you want live your dream life.
